Blair Center at Corkscrew Swamp

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is open for visitors every day of the year. Access to the boardwalk will be limited during severe weather.

Hours:

• October 1 through April 10: 7 AM to *5:30 PM
• April 11 through September 30: 7 AM to *7:30 PM

*Note: Last admission is one hour before closing time.

All visitors must be off the boardwalk before the closing time unless a special program is being conducted by the Corkscrew staff. No individual is allowed on the boardwalk after dark. This regulation was established for the protection of wading birds that roost or nest near the boardwalk. Any disturbance of these birds at night might result in nest failure.

This regulation applies each month of the year. Vehicles found in the parking area after the closing time may be towed at the owner's expense.

Nature Store

A purchase from the Nature Store is a great way to take Corkscrew home with you. Our store carries hundreds of nature related items. Choose from a variety of outdoor logo gear featuring Corkscrew’s alligators, birds and rare plants; children's educational toys and games; nature gifts and crafts. Field guides and birding, ecology and Florida related titles are highlighted in our book department, along with activity and board books for children. All store proceeds help to support Corkscrew’s programs and to help us preserve the Sanctuary.

The Nature Store is open every day of the year. Store hours are 10:00am to 5:30pm.
