(July 31, 2017) – Eric Draper, Audubon Florida’s executive director said, “Audubon congratulates Ernie Marks on his appointment as executive director of the South Florida Water Management District. This position is one of the most important figures in Everglades restoration, setting the stage for continuing progress on the world’s largest ecosystem restoration program. Ernie’s background demonstrates that he has the knowledge and leadership skills to be effective in this critical role.
