Northeast Florida’s wealth of wildlife ranges from maritime hammocks decorated with jewel-toned Painted Buntings, to thousand-fold flocks of migrating Red Knots foraging on coastal flats to Wood Storks bringing up their young in the wetlands of the mighty St. Johns River.
Audubon takes action on behalf of these resources through its Northeast Florida Program. Find out how we’re making a difference—and how you can get involved today.

Growth
Management & Transportation:
Engaging in the comprehensive planning process on county
and city levels to advocate for wise coastal management
