Audubon Center for Birds of Prey

The Best Part of Working for Audubon

The birds are the reason why Dianna Flynt comes to work every day.

At Audubon, everyday heroes help us advance conservation and stand up for Florida's wildlife and wildlands. These people walk among us each day working to make the world a better place. They inspire others to give their time, energy, and talent while making a difference in what they do and who they are.

The Audubon Center for Birds of Prey is lucky to have Dianna Flynt as a member of our team and a conservation hero. Dianna has dedicated her 30-year career to saving birds and the special places they need. In this video, listen to Dianna (and Francis the Bald Eagle) talk about what she loves about her job. Her expertise, passion, and dedication to conservation have led to thousands of birds being released back into the Florida skies. From bird rescues to baby returns, Dianna has made a large impact in the world of raptors. It takes true heroes to make Florida a better place for birds and people.

You also can be a hero with a gift to the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey.  Your donations empower Audubon's work and staff heroes like Dianna to continue our important work of saving birds of prey and protecting the habitat where they live. With your support, we work to protect what makes Florida special, and I hope we can count on your support to help us end 2017 strong.

Thank you,

Katie Warner
