Renewal of Life for the Everglades: Moving Forward Together

Time is running out for early registration for the 26th Annual Everglades Coalition Conference “Renewal of Life for the Everglades: Moving Forward Together” - January 6- 9, 2011 in Weston, Florida.

Early registration rates end this Friday for the 2011 Everglades Coalition Conference.  The Coalition's Annual Conference seeks to raise critical, timely issues for in-depth debate in an open, accessible forum.  The exciting program will feature Audubon of Florida experts, including Executive Director Eric Draper, State Director of Research Dr. Jerry Lorenz, Director of Advocacy Charles Lee, Lake Okeechobee Watershed Science Coordinator Dr. Paul Gray, National Audubon Legislative Director Brian Moore and Everglades Coalition National Co-Chair Julie Hill-Gabriel, alongside decision-makers from federal, state, local and tribal governments, agency representatives, and other stakeholders. Conference sessions will focus on topics such as Florida’s role in restoration, clean water and wildlife issues, wetlands regulation, and the benefits of Everglades restoration for the economy.
