Audubon Advocate: 2012 Legislative Session Report

In a year when so much focus was on redistricting and key budget issues, the 2012 Legislative Session offered a few modest successes and only minor harm to environmental policy. The best news is that there may be a little more money for land and water conservation and the Everglades. The worst news is that regulated interests continue to use the legislative process to chip away at the rules and laws that allow citizens and local governments to protect the environment.
