Upcoming Events and Programs:

February 13: Great Backyard Bird Count, 8:30am-10:30am

           Come and help us count the birds we attract to our feeders.  No experience needed!  This event will include a Basic Bird ID introduction and checklist to help count birds.  The Great Backyard bird count collects data on a national scale to help determine distribution and abundance of birds.  All data gathered will be submitted to the National e-bird database.                     Event is free. February 21: Wind Beneath our Wings Event at Venue on the Lake/Maitland Civic Center, 4:30 pm-7:30 pm

            Audubon Center for Birds of Prey invites you to an enchanting evening and event featuring Conservation Photographer Mac Stone. You may have recently seen Mac on CNN's "The Wonder List with Bill Weir" talking about the Everglades or his TED Talk featuring Florida's Wetlands and the Everglades system.  Using his beautiful photographs of Florida's wildlife and nature, Mac will tell the story of Florida's raptors and the need to protect these special species and their habitat.

February 22: Full Moon Owl Prowl, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm

Registration for this event is now closed. 

            We will meet at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey at 6:30 and walk to a nearby location to find wild owls.  Enjoy an up-close and personal encounter with some of the Center's own Owls, then we will go prowling for wild Owls.  You must register for this event: Cost is $5 per person, email AudubonCBOP@audubon.org with the subject: OwlProwl.

March 15:  Camp Open House, 6:00 pm-7:00 pm

This is an information session for parents about the upcoming changes to our amazing Raptor Camp Program, open to ages 6-12.

May 7: Baby Owl Shower, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Save the date for our Annual Baby Owl Shower.  Admission is free in lieu of an in kind gift to support our busy clinic during baby bird season.  More info coming soon!

June - Raptor Camp - 2 Sessions

June 13-17: Raptor Camp Session 1 -Ages 6-8
