Emoy Suarez is Finance Director for Audubon Florida, a position she has held since 2009. A graduate of Florida International University with Bachelor’s and Master’s of Accounting degrees, Emoy's main focus is on day-to-day business operations, such as accounts payable/receivables, contracts, and grants. She is also responsible for budget preparation, implementation, and continuous monitoring of actual results compared to the current budget and prior years.
Emoy also maintains communications with the Board of Directors Finance Committee regarding the evaluation and oversight of finances for all Florida programs. Prior to joining the team at Audubon, Emoy worked as an Audit Supervisor for five years.
