Governor DeSantis delivered a legislative “win” for climate when he vetoed HB 741, securing a future for Florida’s fledgling rooftop solar industry. The bill, as proposed, would have significantly reduced the investment feasibility for homeowners who generate their own solar power. Florida needs all the renewable energy it can get to meet the challenge of climate change.
