Bald Eagles in Catskills Show Increasing Mercury

As if they don't do enough harm already,  emissions from coal-burning power plants in the Midwest are contaminating the food chain up in New York. The really bad news, according to Lynda White of our very own Center for Birds of Prey, is that Florida's population of bald eagles may be at risk of mercury contamination as well.
