Critical Ecology: the scientific and social understanding of "the home" during a critical period to influence your family, friends, neighbors and even strangers to respect and protect the natural environment. This is an exploration and learning hands on experience program that focuses on the Florida Everglades Ecology and the historical social impacts that have affected the ecosystem.There will be four excursions: Hike in Big Cypress, Cycle in Everglades National Park, Seagrass in Crandon Park, & Reef Snorkel in Key Largo. Bring a picnic lunch to eat after the excursions.
