Hernando Audubon Is Now on Its Way to 51

Hernando Audubon held its 50th Anniversary celebration on February 26 at the chapter's regular monthly meeting place, the Community Activity Center in Brooksville, FL. Below are a few photos from the anniversary event.  Special thanks were given to the guest speaker Harley Means, a professional geologist employed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Geological Survey in Tallahassee.  Mr. Means spoke about issues affecting Florida's springs. The Hernando Today has an excellent piece highlighting the Audubon chapter and its continued mission.
