When bird enthusiasts ask Carole Adams about her popular Owl Prowl walking tours, she sums up the experience as only she can.
“I tell them it’s going to be a hoot,” Carole says.
One could say the northern transplant and Duval Audubon Society president has lived a life for the birds. Nearly all her days have centered on the education, admiration and protection of the winged creatures around us.
“It comes down to the search for the bird and then the discovery – seeing the bird for the first time and then the identification,” Carole says. “It’s the exploration that gets you.”
