Forty of the nation’s most promising conservationists will advance their environmental vision and conservation leadership skills as recipients of the first TogetherGreen Fellowships. Awarded by the new conservation alliance of the National Audubon Society and Toyota, Fellows were selected from scores of applicants across the country by an advisory board of environmental leaders. The fellowship provides $10,000 to each recipient to work on a Conservation Action Project of their choosing within their community. Three of the 40 people selected are from the state of Florida – Jennifer Seitz, who works with IFAS in Gainesville, Penelope Bodry-Sanders, who works with the Lemur Foundation in Myakka, and Amy Gilboy Meide, Land Management Coordinator for St. Johns County.
