Some seriously great writing about water.

We here at the news blog know good writing when we see it. And this series in the Daytona Beach News-Journal is as good as it gets. The subject matter is water, and it examines practically every aspect of Florida's drinking water supply you can imagine - from conservation to legislation to potential effects of climate change. It's a heck of a read, and we're not just saying that because our own Charles Lee is quoted throughout. Speaking of Charles Lee - big time congratulations are in order. On January 4, the Orlando Sentinel named him one of the runners up to Dr. Deborah German, Dean of the new UCF Medical School, as "Central Floridian of the Year".  Very cool indeed, and well deserved. Read what they had say about Charles here.
