Let's Be Smart With Our Water

Florida does not have an infinite supply of water. The average Floridian now uses roughly twice as much water a day (175 gallons) as he/she did 50 years ago. And of course, the state's population is growing. As a result, our water supply systems are being strained. But there is an easy solution. Conservation. It makes much more sense, economically and environmentally, to efficiently use what we have rather than trying to tap new sources, as certain proposals on the St. Johns and Ocklawaha rivers do, wastefully.
