The Miami Herald ran a piece on Sunday, March 8th, listing Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary as one of five top Florida parks to visit, on par with Everglades National Park.  The Sanctuary contains boardwalks that afford visitors opportunities to view lush habitat and a diverse array of wildlife. Recently in the news, Bald Eaglets have made their appearance, as well as a deer-stalking Florida Panther at the Swamp. If you have never experienced Corkscrew, make a trip to witness it. It would be well worth your time. After all, Brian Dewey was wooed by it.
