Today the Florida House is scheduled to vote on HB 1219 which would allow oil drilling in Florida’s nearshore waters, less than 10 miles from our coasts. Audubon is working hard to secure as many “no” votes as possible on the House side, while working on the Senate which may take up the bill later this week.
