Center for Birds of Prey Included in New National Geographic Publication

National Geographic's newest travel guide, USA 101, is "a  guide to America's iconic places, events and festivals...showcasing the treasured traditions, legendary places, and hometown events that embody our national identity." Author Gary McKechnie includes a chapter on bald eagles.  "Whether it's perched on the arm of a handler or, better yet, flying free in a wide-open sky, its dignity, power and presence is a soaring reflection of America". Audubon Center for Birds of Prey and the Audubon EagleWatch program are featured prominently in the chapter as well.
