WUSF's series featuring Florida authors began with noted oceanographer, Dr. Sylvia Earle. She can also claim the title of National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence which she earned diving the world's oceans over the last 50 years. Earle talked about her recent book, The World is Blue: How Our Fate and the Oceans' Are One.
