Oct. 21 | 6 p.m. Virtual Event: Welcome and Chapter Successes
Welcome to the first session of the 2021 Audubon Florida Assembly! We will kick things off with a welcome from Executive Director Julie Wraithmell, followed by a round-robin of chapter successes, emceed by Jacqui Sulek.

 

Oct. 23 | North Florida Experience: Enjoy field trips and lunch (outdoors) at UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center - Suwannee Valley. SOLD OUT.

 

Oct. 28 | 6 p.m. Virtual Event: Conservation Agenda Setting for 2022
Working with chapters from around the state, Audubon Florida will coordinate approval of the conservation agenda for 2022.

 

Oct. 30 | Central Florida Experience: Attend a field trip followed by lunch outdoors at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey in Maitland. SOLD OUT.

 

Nov. 4 | 6 p.m. Virtual Event: Nature as a Climate Solution: Inland Wetlands, Ranches, and Forests
Join us for an interactive workshop to learn how you can utilize inland wetlands, ranches, and forests as climate solutions in your community. Learn more about Natural Climate Solutions in Florida.

 

Nov. 6 | 4 p.m. Southwest Florida Experience: Enjoy a special, after-hours event at Corkscrew Swamp SanctuarySOLD OUT.

 

Nov. 9 | 6 p.m. Virtual Event: Keynote Presentation by Scott Weidensaul, New York Times Bestselling Author. We will take to the skies for "A World on the Wing: The Global Odyssey of Migratory Birds." The sweeping and precisely timed migrations of birds make them that much more vulnerable to our changing climate. Join world-renowned author and researcher Scott Weidensaul as we explore the feats of migration that make these species so extraordinary.
