The members of the Everglades Brewers Council have been collaborating with Audubon Florida to champion policies that protect South Florida’s water, restore the Everglades, and strengthen our regional resilience. They’ve signed coalition letters urging the federal government to fund Everglades restoration, written op-eds, planned events, partnered for special beer releases, and shared information about the intersection between Florida’s craft brewing industry and a healthy Everglades ecosystem.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, South Florida’s craft breweries have closed down their taprooms. During these uncertain times, they are creatively adapting to keep their businesses afloat and take care of their employees.
Some are offering pickup and delivery, some are offering gift cards for later use, and some are asking for donations so that staff who have been furloughed or had hours reduced can continue to pay rent and put food on the table.
We’ve put together a list of options that each brewery is currently offering. We understand this is a fast-moving situation, so please make sure to abide by your community’s latest set of recommendations. There are many ways to safely support our local businesses. If you’re able, show some love to the breweries that work to make South Florida a better home for people and for wildlife.

Donate: Hands for Hospitality Fort Lauderdale is a fund to provide financial support to the hourly employees that are currently unemployed or furloughed due to the limited service or shut down of local restaurants in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), city-wide mandated health restrictions. The money raised in this endeavor will directly go to hourly employees that are not currently working – including Tarpon River’s staff.
