Audubon Florida Protects Quality of Life for Birds and People

Our environment is our economy.

Here at Audubon Florida, we focus on using sound science to advocate for common sense solutions to challenges facing the Sunshine State. From clean water to clean energy, natural landscapes to special places, we are here to protect Floridians’ prosperity and quality of life. Conservation is good for the environment - and our economy too. Tourism, property values, healthy agriculture, and even our thriving defense industry depends upon resilient natural resources, not only now but long into the future.

We are biologists, policy experts, educators, community members, and volunteers. Join us to protect water, wildlife, and people.

Want to join us?

From coastal stewards to Florida Scrub-Jay monitors, Boardwalk Naturalists to raptor care specialists, we have exciting volunteer capacities available across the state. Email us at flconservation@audubon.org along with your location and interests and we can match you with the perfect volunteer opportunity, or click the options below.

Your dollars can also make a tremendous impact. Gifts to Audubon support our biologists in Florida Bay collecting data that informs Everglades restoration, underwrite a team of coastal stewards protecting beach-nesting bird sites on a crowded holiday weekend, and allow students to experience Florida’s natural wonders at one of our Centers and Sanctuaries. Contact Suzanne Bartlett or 305.371.6399 ex. 123 for more information.
